Days 4, 5, and 6.

Sorry about missing three days. I’ve just been so tired. This sub 1500 calorie thing is murderous. However, I don’t have conclusive information saying my Bodyfat% is down, I can say that after sticking at 169 for about a month, the 6 days I’ve been on this diet my weight has dropped every single day. Today I weighed in at 165lbs on the dot. Now, I don’t care to bits about my actual weight. I care about my bf% and subsequently, how fucking sexy I (will) look naked. Sorry for the visual, fellas, but c’mon you know what I’m sayin’.

So without firther ado, here is my inf for the last 3 days. In order:

=============================================================

This has been a crazy rough week. Business has been drainign me a lot, but that’s a good thing (I hope.) My numbers were dwindling in the gym, but that seems normal for the way I’m doing things. I’m still pushing max effort, and I think it’s paying off.

Today I went from 135 to 315 at 5 reps all the way up on a huge deficit, and it felt really good. I’m feeling good about the future.

til next time.

DAY 3

So day 3 was both easier and harder. I cut my “Half&Half” down to two ounces per cup of coffee. Still had room for everything. The one thing I’ve noticed is there is literally no room for snacking, not even low calorie foods like broccoli. Thank goodness I have all this Japanese green tea. I basically drink that and water if I start to get hungry.

The gym was pretty intense. My squats used to be slightly further than shoulder width, toes angled out A LOT. Today I mixed it up. Feet at shoulder width, toes pointing straight forward. The idea is the more out your toes point the more your ADductors work, the more forward your toes point the more weight the Quads have to hit alone. I felt like I could break my old PR, but it just didn’t happen with the new form. I think in the next two weeks I’ll have 275 though. I know it’s a big jump, but I’ll give it my best.

Bench… I’m really trying to get my form perfect. Back super tight, feet planted, back arched properly, wrists straight, deep breath. All of that. It’s coming along, but bench has always been my worst lift, so I’m really trying to get it right. I think soon I’ll master what I’ve dubbed “The God Press” which is a perfect form benchpress. When your form is perfect, the bar just slides up and down beautifully.

It seems like my major sticking point is at the bottom of the press, so I did some stop presses to work on that. We’ll see if the new mindset pays off.

Oh, I’m down to 168lbs. We’ll see if it’s consistent or what. Remember, I don’t give a shit about my body-weight, it’s my bodyFAT that I care about.

Day 1

Okay, let me be frank: I fucking hate counting calories. This sucks. I know that’s a negative way to look at it but it is terribly tedious and a little depressing. (My coffee has HOW MANY CALORIES? FUCK.)

I guess because I am so used to ignoring calories and just watching carbs for Keto that I was never really away how calorie dense “Half & Half” is.

Anyway, No gym today. Big let down, I know, all my adoring fans were so excited to see what my gym time looks like, but the gym I go to is chock-full of roided out bros from mirror to mirror checking themselves out with maximum scrutiny. Even the leg room, normally my haven, gets some overflow of curlbroz, and I hate to have to remind them that all two of their precious bicep curl racks in the leg room are actually used for squats (crazy I know!) so I avoid it all together.

With the new direction I’m going at the gym, the static rest day will probably be a welcome.

As for my diet: This is as absolutely exact as I could possibly get it. Every single thing that I ate today went into this. Everything.

Looking forward to the gym tomorrow, not looking forward to counting all my calories. I’m going to be cutting it dangerously close to 1500 calories with my pre/post workout carbs.

Here’s hoping my new direction concerning diet will be a boon!

A little about me and why I’m doing this…

Foreword:

I made a post on Reddit’s Fitness board (www.reddit.com/r/fitness) detailing my diet and exercise regimen. A lot of people where in disbelief concerning my diet and exercise routine, saying the way I was eating and working out should boast better results (Which is exactly why I was posting in the first place.)

Mostly it was Phrakture, Silverhydra, and Magnusson (Thanks guys) who moved me to do this, to keep a very specific log of what exactly I eat, what exactly I do at the gym, and anything else.

This seems like an easy way for me to keep a record of what I’m doing and of my progress. Anyone who cares to look at what I lift or eat or supplement can look here. I’ll try to tag everything as best I can but I’m new to all this.
